You want to store email attachments directly in the leitzcloud or safely share larger files per email? You can achieve that by simply linking Microsoft Outlook to your leitzcloud.

To do so follow these steps:

1. Log in to your leitzcloud account via your browser, clock on your user name at the right top and select “Download Apps”.




2. Choose “Outlook Add-In for Windows”.




3. Ensure that Microsoft Outlook is closed and start the execution file. If Outlook has not been closed, restart it to use the plug-in.
4. When you start Outlook, you are asked to enter the following information:
   • Hostname: This is the name of your server, for example https://web.leitz-cloud.com.
   • Username: Enter your email address. If you are an Active Directory user, please type you login details as a domain or user name, not your email address.
   • Password: This is your password.
5. Choose your default settings:
   • Notify on download: If someone downloads your share, you will get an email.
   • Download limit: If a file has been downloaded more than the given amount of times, the share becomes invalid.
   • Expire share after _ days: This is how long you want a share to be valid until it expires.
6. Now each time you want to send a file to someone, click on the “Attach” button of the Sync Tool in Microsoft Outlook.
7. Folders and files that have been shared via the plug-in now appear in the senders “Shares”.

Please note: Both name and symbol of the plug-in can be customized.

Additional note: Microsoft Outlook 2010+ are supported and suggested. This plug-in is not compatible with macOS.
