Since Windows can only handle 15 overlay icons, identifiers among others for file collision, file locking and file syncing are not displayed when they have not been registered before.

By following these 5 steps you can register them. This applies to Windows Vista and Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11.

1. Check out first which overlay icons Windows Explorer can load. Therefore, press Windows key + R and enter “regedit”.
2. Search for the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers.
3. To make room for the icons you want to add right-click on an icon you want to delete. Be sure you don't need the deleted ones. To get a better overview over which icons you want to keep, you can rename them and add a ''Z'' at the beginning to place them at the end of the list.
4. Now you can quit the Explorer and restart your Computer.
5. Launch the leitzcloud and the synchronization icons will be displayed.
